In addition to core courses, several fine arts and elective courses are offered. Two fully equipped computer labs and a computer math lab are accessible for developing technology skills, conducting research, and practicing and assessing skills. The science lab provides a place for students to participate in meaningful hands-on experiments. Band, Robotics, Music, Choir, Orchestra courses allow additional opportunities for students to excel. Student academic assistance and support are available in the form of programs such as: Resource, English as a Second Language (ESL), and Gifted and Talented. Enrichment Blocks help students meet academic standards and enhance positive youth development. Team JWI staff members sponsor many extracurricular programs that meet after school.
